Our Story

Art Recognition Talent Search Skating Academy, known as A.R.T.S.S.A, was developed to foster our passion for figure skating and the beauty of movement and music.

To inspire, create and explore. Sharing our passion with everyone who loves the art of figure skating as much as we do.

We create and cultivate opportunities for participation and achievement in figure skating.

Who is this for?

 ARTSSA currently services the Vancouver area!

ARTSSA teaches freeskate, technical & dance skills, artistic choreography, synchronized skating, theatre on ice, and off-ice conditioning. All ages and all levels welcome, skating is for everyone!

Groups start with our Learn to Skate program – for ages 4 and up.

Skaters progress to STAR or Competitive programs once basic skating skills are learned.

Our Story

We always wanted to create an environment for skaters where they can express their passion, and provide opportunities. We believe we have ideas, experience and knowledge that will help skaters be successful. We have been skating for over 20 years, competing at national and international levels and have been involved in coaching for over 17 years.

Through our work we can share that passion with others.

We are dedicated to building a community where individuals can find trusted coaches and mentors, as well where skaters can foster their true interest in figure skating.
